Bluespace Project leader Idelfonso Tafur Monroy is co-organizing a special workshop on Sunday 08 October including the delivery an invited talk The full-day workshop is part of the conference European Microwave Week 2017 to take place in Nuremberg, Germany. 8-13 October 2017.
As of July 12th 2017, the line-up is as follows:
5G technology will be especially demanding in several end-user requirements, such as latency, massive machine-to-machine communication, spectral efficiency, energy consumption, and data rates. In order to meet these requirements a number of key enabling technologies, such as mm-waves and MIMO will be required. The aim of this full-day workshop is to demonstrate how microwave photonics can be used to realize supporting infrastructure such as mm-wave radio-over-fibre.
Bringing industry and academia together, European Microwave Week 2017 is a SIX day event, including THREE cutting edge conferences and ONE exciting trade and technology exhibition featuring leading players from across the globe. EuMW 2017 provides access to the very latest products, research and initiatives in the microwave sector. It also offers you the opportunity for face-to-face interaction with those driving the future of microwave technology.
The 20th European Microwave Week combines
• three major conferences
• associated workshops
• tailored courses and seminars for industrialists, academics and researchers
• leading international trade show.
In addition, Exhibitor Workshops and Seminars will be provided by several top organisations with superior expertise in Microwave, RF, Wireless or Radar.
